Hello, and thank you for showing an interest in my work! I
was born in 1967 and live in the South East of England with my husband,
two children, five cats and a rough collie called.... you guessed it -
Lassie!!
For quite a few years I made artist teddy bears under
the name of Willow Bears attending major fairs such as Kensington,
Hove, Stratford upon Avon etc.
I used to co-own The Old Playroom - a small shop
specialising in antique and collectable toys located
in the Kent market town of West Malling. One of my biggest sources of
inspiration is the work of Jane
Hissey with her Old Bear and Friends series of stories and
illustrations. My children have grown up on the books and Jane's
encouragement on my own work was very welcome!
